Only a smile

"What can make you happy?"
Someone asked me one day. 
"No sweet words, nothing sappy, 
But only a smile can make me happy."
I replied right away. 

"What can cheer you up?"
They asked me again. 
"Neither a kitten, nor a pup, 
But only a smile can cheer me up.
And make me forget my pain."

"What can change your day?
Tell me what?" They inquired. 
"I have got nothing else to say, 
But only a smile can change my day."
I replied of what they desired. 

Sometimes when I am angry or sad, 
And there's nothing which can take it away, 
If I am tired or my day has gone bad, 
Then only a smile can make it all fade
And make my heart cheerful and gay.

Death of a loved one...

Eyes full of tears,  Throat is running dry,  My day is being spent,  As I simply cry and cry.  My breath is getting shorter,  I wish my heart to stop,  I just came back from the funeral,  With this loss, how can I cope?  It's not HER who died,  It's my own soul which went away,  They tell me to calm down,  But how can I still be okay?  There's a part of me that's broken now,  Nothing can provide me peace,  If possible, I want to die And that's only when I can rest with ease.  ~Mystery Night
