Seems like it was just yesterday, 
When I was happy with the life I had, 
But those days went by and never came back, 
While I was left thinking when did it change?

I had so many people I could call friends, 
But the happy moments went by in a flash,

I was reminiscing about the promises we made, 
But it's been months since you went away,

Seems like it was just yesterday, 
I promised myself I would make new friends, 
I made new friends but lost the ones I had, 
While I kept thinking when did I change? 

Today goes away and becomes yesterday, 
And all I can bear in my mind is regret, 
Every day passes with losing something I once had, 
While I keep thinking why do we all change?

Death of a loved one...

Eyes full of tears,  Throat is running dry,  My day is being spent,  As I simply cry and cry.  My breath is getting shorter,  I wish my heart to stop,  I just came back from the funeral,  With this loss, how can I cope?  It's not HER who died,  It's my own soul which went away,  They tell me to calm down,  But how can I still be okay?  There's a part of me that's broken now,  Nothing can provide me peace,  If possible, I want to die And that's only when I can rest with ease.  ~Mystery Night
